Sourced from a 600 strong community of British farmers, our wool is founded on the belief that farmers should receive fair prices for responsible practices such as improved animal health, biodiversity, soil enrichment, and long-term farm profitability.
Not all Wool is Born the Same.
In the UK around 35,000 farmers raise 65 different commercial breeds of sheep. Each breed produces fleece with its own distinct characteristics — from coarse to fine textures, varying levels of softness, loft, and colour. These qualities are influenced by factors such as breed type, climate, management practices, shearing time, and even the animal’s stress levels. When working with wool, the question isn’t which is the best wool, but rather which wool is best suited to the specific purpose.
